This is a small patch to address a number of hotfixes, string corrections, and minor bug fixes to Patch 2.6.0. If you are one of the players that had unique appearances from the Diablo anniversary event, the Darkening of Tristram, and now you don’t, check to make sure you regained those appearances once Patch 2.6.0a is live in your region - and if it still isn’t, report it on the Bug Report Forums, because that’s supposed to be fixed. None of this is earthshaking stuff, but it’s all worthwhile - I know I hate it when anything affects transmog, because that’s my favorite feature of any game that has it. Also, the Moribund Gauntlets should now be quieter. ![]() On top of that, progress orbs in Rifts now spawn closer to the mobs you defeat, and the Necromancer portraits in game are now in their intended live versions instead of the placeholders from beta, which were not supposed to go live. In addition to fixes for the German and Chinese localizations of the game, there was a fix for a bug where items from the anniversary event had lost their unique appearances (i.e., no longer available for transmog). Diablo 3’s Patch 2.6.0a isn’t the big content-heavy patch that 2.6.0 itself was, but what it brings us is relief from some bugs, updates to things meant to be updated before now, and some cleaning-up of the dust left behind in the wake of a major content patch. ![]()
